The Pine Crest Golf Team has had a very successful season this year. The girls’ team started with a win against Calvary Christian, while the boys placed third in the season opener, the Biltmore Tournament. Several members set their personal best such as senior Lily Morison. The girls’ golf team finished second in the district tournament, while the boys’ golf team finished third. Senior Captain Andrew Ettinger placed 3^rd in regionals individually. The team has done extremely well, and members have received recognition in local newspapers. Team members Lily Morrison and Ryan Hager were listed as players to watch in the Sun Sentinel. Jillian Castoro said that the season was enjoyable and that she learned a lot about the sport. Other members such as Steven Chervony, Sam Haubenstock, and Jordanna Court helped make this season thrive. Pine Crest is proud of the great achievements of their student-athletes.
