Halloween is right around the corner along with all its yummy treats! Besides dressing up and having fun with friends, Halloween treats are a delicious part of any Halloween tradition. Forget about regular candy, these recipes are far better and will have you wishing it could be Halloween everyday. There’s nothing scary about these sweet and savory treats, so enjoy!!

Mummy Brownies

  • Ingredients
  1. Any boxed brownie mix
  2. White chocolate melts
  3. Candy eyeballs
  • Instructions
  1. Bake brownies according to the box’s designated instructions and set aside to cool once finished baking
  2. While brownies are cooling, melt white chocolates in microwave
  3. Cool the melted white chocolate and then pour it into a small ziploc bag and cut a hole in the corner
  4. Cut cooled brownies into desired size
  5. Squeeze the melted chocolate onto the brownies in a zig zag pattern
  6. Place candy eyeballs onto the melted chocolate immediately
  7. Place finished mummy brownies into fridge to set
  8. Enjoy!

 

Harvest Hash Chex Mix

  • Dry Ingredients
  1. 1 box Rice Chex Cereal
  2. 4 cups Pretzels
  3. 1 bag Bugel Chips
  4. 1 cup Candy Corn
  5. 1 cup Candy Corn Pumpkins
  6. 1 bag Resse’s Pieces
  • Wet Ingredients
  1. ¾ cup melted butter
  2. ¾ cup packed brown sugar
  3. 2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 275 degress
  2. Melt butter in the microwave
  3. Add brown sugar and vanilla extract into the bowl and whisk unitl it is completely dissolved
  4. In a large bowl, add the rice chex cereal, pretzel, and bugel chips
  5. Pour the sauce over the mixture and gently toss until everything is coated
  6. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper
  7. Divide the mixture onto the two trays and spread into an even letter
  8. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes
  9. Remove from the oven and cool
  10. After cooled, add in the candy corn pieces/pumpkins and reese’s pieces
  11. Enjoy!

 

Pumpkin Patch Dirt Cups

  • Ingredients
  1. 2 3.5-oz. boxes chocolate pudding mix
  2. 4 c. milk
  3. 1 package Oreo cookies
  4. Candy pumpkins
  5. Short plastic cups
  • Instructions
  1. Remove the frosting off the oreos and place the oreos into a large bag, crush
  2. Make pudding according to package directions
  3. Put half a scoop of pudding into a small cup and place a thin layer of crushed cookies on top
  4. Scoop more pudding on top of that and put a second layer of cookies
  5. Arrange the candy pumpkins on top to look like a “dirt patch”
  6. Enjoy!
