In the wake of the election, we seem to be forgetting the most important president, that is the president of Pine Crest’s Student Council, Jake Lieberfarb. While the US President-elect may have experience running businesses, President Lieberfarb can show him the ropes, as he has been involved in Student Council throughout middle school and high school. I was very lucky that he could pencil me into his schedule, which is jam-packed with presidential duties.[spacer height=”10px” id=”2″]

T1: What does a presidential breakfast consist of?[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]
Jake: Greek yogurt chia seed pudding ([I] make my own recipe. It’s really good,), pancakes, egg whites with mozzarella, chocolate milk, and a smile.[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]

T1: How do you do your hair?[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]
Jake: I don’t do my hair. I just walk out of the shower and hope for the best.[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]

T1: You also drink the tears of your enemies, I’m assuming?[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]
Jake: Enemies means that they have a chance of beating me, so no.[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]

T1: What email account do you use for school and personal agenda?[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]
Jake: [I use] my first class email for school and I have a gmail for my spam email and Facebook updates.[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]

T1: What do you like to do in your free time when you have a break from your presidential duties?[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]
Jake: I play the saxophone; I play jazz. I like to listen to a lot of music, Led Zeppelin all the way. Also, I do Crew which takes up a lot of my time.[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]

T1: Have you thought of starting a band?[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]
Jake: Maybe second semester if I have time; it would be a cover band.[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]

T1: Would you wear any costumes in your band?[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]
Jake: No, it would be very low key, there is already so much attention on me, I don’t need any more.[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]

T1: If you got to sit down with President-elect Trump, what would be your own piece of advice?[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]
Jake: I would say play nice with others and treat people the way you would want to be treated.[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]

T1: If you were President of the United States, what would be your first act?[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]
Jake: Outlaw socks and sandals…or bring back Harambe.[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]

T1: If you were an animal what would you be?[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]
Jake: Obviously a gorilla because Harambe.[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]

T1: Do you plan on continuing student government after high school?[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]
Jake: I do plan on sticking with student government in the future.[spacer height=”5px” id=”3″]

[spacer height=”10px” id=”2″]Maybe Jake will be the United States’ president in the future; look out for the Leiberfarb campaign trail in 2036. Hopefully next time we sit down with him, we’ll get private showing of one of his famous saxophone serenades.
