1. Warhol and Wyeth: Behind the Scenes of the Factory Portrait

Futernick Family Art Gallery, Miami, Florida

This weekend, immerse yourself in the incredible histories of some of the most famous artists of all time at the Futernick Family Art Gallery in Miami, Florida. This Sunday, the works of photojournalist Stanley Tretick will be presented.  Entitled Warhol and Wyeth: Behind the Scenes of the Factory Portrait, his exhibit features photographs of Andy Warhol and Jamie Wyeth from 1976.

In 1976, Andy Warhol and Jamie Wyeth decided to do an artistic collaboration together for a show at the Coe-Kerr Gallery in New York. During the creation of this project, the famous Stanley Tretick was sent by People Magazine to document their artistic journey throughout the making of the Andy Warhol & Jamie Wyeth: Portraits of Each Other exhibit.

Take a trip down to Miami and experience the creative processes of Andy Warhol, Jamie Wyeth, and Stanley Tretick at the Futernick Family Art Gallery. You will be inspired by three of history’s most famous artists by experiencing Stanley Tretick’s Warhol and Wyeth: Behind the Scenes of the Factory Portrait exhibit.

2. National Geographic’s Women of Vision

Palm Beach Photographic Center, West Palm Beach, Florida

March 14th – March 28th

If your artistic tastes are a little more multicultural, visit the National Geographic’s Women of Vision exhibit at the Palm Beach Photographic Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. The exhibit features more than 100 photographic artworks from eleven prestigious female artists who are full-time photographers for National Geographic. Their work makes a powerful yet realistic statement about the conditions of various countries, and documents the lives and experiences within these places. The exhibit features photographs from places such as Nepal, China, Yemen, and Iran.

Best of all, admission to this exhibit is free! Drive up to West Palm Beach this weekend and view the amazing photographs of a group of incredible female photographers at the National Geographic’s Women of Vision exhibit.
