Pine Crest has always tries to provide excellent summer programs for their students. Along with their new program at Oxford, Pine Crest will be introducing an Experiential Learning Summer Internship (ELSI) program. This program opens up new opportunities for students outside the classroom. Students entering their junior and senior year at Pine Crest will now have the chance to apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world work environment. The ELSI program is going to be managed by Mrs. Andrea Tomassini in Pine Crest’s Institute for Civic Involvement (ICI).
Pine Crest is hard at work finding the best possible sponsors and mentors for their students. They want to offer a great variety of internships within different professional fields.
While participating in this program, a student will intern for a specific organization or corporation in their field of interest. These internships can vary in length and frequency. Along with gaining work experience, some of these internships may even offer a salary. If a student is not a paid intern, they are still able to earn community service hours for their work.
This program is spectacular for students entering their junior and senior year. Students should be on the look out for more information about the Experiential Learning Summer Internship program.
