Soccer Season is finally here!

The 2021 season is officially underway, and what better way to kick it off than with a win. The boys’ varsity team won their first game of the season and are anticipating a successful season.

Paul Morell ’23, the starting center back for the boys’ varsity team, told the Paw Print that he is “excited about this year’s team.”
“We have a really good team. [I] want to make it as far as we can, and hopefully win states.”

The Paw Print also interviewed Elena Jaimes ’23, who has been playing on varsity for two years. She is a strong believer in the strength of the Varsity team and fueling from the momentum of winning states last year, she’s “super excited for this year.”

She told the Paw Print “We have a really strong team and I think that we will be able to get [win districts] again if we work hard.”
