Pine Crests’ Charity Concert; Playing for Change
Pine Crest’s annual Playing for Change concert on October 14th in Stacy Auditorium was a resounding success! Dozens of students from freshman to seniors, along with an inspiring quartet of math teachers, performed in front of an excited audience of administration, faculty, parents, and students. The performers shared their talents while raising money for the charity, Kicks for Kids. Greer Udelson ’23 and Jeremy Berkun ’22 organized the concert with seamless efficiency.
Not only did the concert consist of singing performances, but also instrumental covers. Brandon Goldberg ’24 accompanied almost every piece on the piano, and Rebecca Adler ’23, Dani Berger ’23, and Erin Gotlieb ’22 provided beautiful melodies on the strings.
Violist Rebecca Adler reminisced how “it was amazing to see everyone come together to play their instruments and sing. Not only was the money going towards a great cause, but everyone was having a really good time.”
Playing for Change was an amazing show and a great way to wrap up Homecoming Week.
