As we turn our calendars to 2012, the Pine Crest Crew team prepares to make its transition from the fall
season into the more competitive spring season. The fall season consists of training for two long distance races in Miami, Florida and Chattanooga, Tennessee. Pine Crest proved to be successful in both of these races while finishing near the top of the leader board. Coming of their fall season success, the team now begins to prepare for the shorter spring races. In spring, there are about ten races leading up to the state championship. This is the bulk of the season with the goal of placing well at the state championship. The rowers are incredibly optimistic about their season, especially varsity coxswain Brandon Sack, “Pine Crest Crew should have an incredibly successful year with all of our talent and great coaching.”

The Pine Crest Crew team hopes for more success in 2012 and cannot wait to see what the new year brings them.
