Football vs. Soccer Feud

At the Pine, our sports teams are like families, and when someone tries to mess with one of them, there’s going to be a problem.  It was only recently that a certain PCTV episode stirred some drama between the PC football and soccer teams.  When asked about the conflict, here’s what the football players had to say:

Elijah Gonzalez: “It was ridiculous and the only reason what was said was said is because we weren’t getting it done.”

Mikey Holz: “No comment.”

Bryan Comras: “Ask Tray.”

Evidently, getting something out of these boys was something of a challenge.  In respect to both teams, regardless of how their seasons turned out or will turn out, they both have spirit.  I decided to ask some of the soccer boys about how they felt about their team:

Alec Neita: “Soccer is the most watched sport in the world.  It’s the most played, also.  The World Cup captures the world while the Super Bowl does not.”

It seems that regardless of all this friendly tension, if there’s one thing these boys have in common, it’s passion.  Both teams have essentially garnered a larger fan base then most other teams at the Pine, and both teams mean football in some language.  At the end of the day we are all Pine Crest.
