What are you doing this weekend? For those of you who don’t have an answer, I have three great options:
1. For the Music Lovers
On October 26, music lovers from across the state will flock to Grand Central Park to listen to artists perform mind-warping music at the Cashmere Kitties Music Festival. From noon to 8 pm, artists from around the world, including DJs Suzy Swampster, Oly, and Ed Shred, will perform a variety of music ranging from electro to jazz. Not only will there be music, but food will also be provided, as there will be five food-trucks featuring a variety of treats. To make it even better, you will also be contributing to a good cause by attending. All proceeds will go to the Helping Hands World Foundation, a charity that helps children and youths throughout communities achieve their maximum potential. So pack up your beach blankets and enjoy yourself at the Cashmere Kitties Music Festival this Saturday!

2. For the Adventure Seekers
You’ve seen it on Instagram and scrolled past it on Facebook, but have you ever tried it? Paddle boarding is the new innovative way to get the traditional workout while having fun. The Standard Hotel offers paddle boarding lessons every Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. Not only do you have an awesome time, but you also get a great bod. So jump on your board, and paddle your way to a great tan and supreme abs. Check it out!

3. For the Winter Enthusiasts
Personally, I love summer; it’s full of sunshine, beaches, and fun. However, sometimes it just gets too hot, and I need a burst of fresh, cool air. That’s when I go ice skating! Take a trip into the cold at the Scott Rakow Youth Center. With rates as low as $2, the center offers a cheap way to have fun on your Saturday afternoon, as you get a burst of that much-needed cold air. Take your friends and maybe go for a movie or a walk through the mall after. Whatever you chose to do, I know you’ll end up having a great time!
