On November 1st, the seniors must submit their college applications if they are applying Early Decision or Early Action. For the past couple of months, they have been working tirelessly to finish their essays and applications. Early Decision requires students to attend the college if they are accepted, whereas Single Choice Early Action—used at Stanford, Yale, Harvard, and Princeton—is a non-binding program wherein applicants can only apply to one private school, along with multiple public schools and service academies.  Early Action is a non-binding decision, however, it will make the application process easier, allowing students to know their college options sooner and to have a higher chance of gaining admission to their dream schools. 

However, the process isn’t so easy; the students have to balance their school work, extracurriculars, and high school life.

“It’s very stressful, but it’s important that I get my results early!” says Ai Shono ‘20.
