Tuesday, October 15th is the first day of Homecoming for the Pine Crest Upper School, and it is packed with many homecoming festivities. The theme of the dress down day is “Disney” where each grade dresses to represent a different Disney film. The Seniors are Monsters Inc. where they may dress as Boo from the movie. The Juniors are Lilo and Stitch where they can bring out their hula skirts and embrace the tropical Florida weather. The Sophomores are the Avengers and can dress as any superhero. The Freshman are The Parent Trap where they can twin with a friend or dress like campers for the day. The main Homecoming events tomorrow include the Homecoming King and Queen Assembly, the Food Games and Water Balloon Toss, and after school, The Poetry Out Loud Competition and FCA 3v3 Basketball Game. Each of these activities can win spirit points and the race for the spirit stick begins tomorrow. Tomorrow is also the first day of the Drive Wars, so remember to bring in school supplies or board games for Achieve Miami.
