Last week, twenty juniors, including myself, ventured up to Boston for the 2013 Harvard Model United Nations (UN). Hundreds of students from different schools across the globe flocked to the Prudential Center to participate in the event. This year, the PC delegates represented the countries of Estonia and Senegal. Each student was assigned to a specific committee within the conference in which the student would debate with delegates from other countries in that committee on a particular topic. Personally, I was assigned to represent Estonia in the Disarmament and International Security Committee along with fellow Type One staff writer, Frank Aloia. The trip was not all work though as we were able to walk around the city, tour the beautiful Harvard campus, and hang out with our friends.
