Spirit week ended on a high note on Friday, October 17, as students filled the gyms for the Homecoming Pep rally. The stands were packed with red, yellow, orange, and blue decorations, colorful spiritwear, and class banners. Students played games and showed their school spirit with one last burst of pride before the football game.
The rally featured crowd-favorite events like tug-of-war games, giving students some friendly competition, while musical chairs brought plenty of laughs and entertainment for everyone. Both the JV and Varsity cheerleaders performed impressive, high-energy routines, and the band kept the crowd going with a song that had the student body singing along.
“Seeing all the students in the stands cheering while I did my first varsity homecoming performance was honestly the best feeling!” said Amelia Lewis ’28.
All of these events had the student sections buzzing with excitement for the football game. Students cheered on their classmates, teachers joined in on the fun by participating in a dance with the cheerleaders, and the gym was filled with energy as everyone came together to celebrate school pride.
As the pep rally came to an end, anticipation for the Homecoming Game was at its peak, closing out Spirit Week with a perfect mix of fun, energy, and Panther pride.
