As a long tradition, Senior Night has been hosted by Pine Crest. On March 19, the girls’ and boys’ lacrosse teams were honored with a pregame ceremony. This ceremony included introductions and congratulations from the coaches, Eileen Pliske and Demmianne Cook, and commemorated the dedication of these players.

For the teams, Senior Night symbolizes something more than a celebration. Many of the players have been five, six, and seven-year Pine Crest lacrosse players. After giving it their all since Freshman year –or even earlier– this night honors them and their hard work.

Senior player for the Girls Varsity team, Marisa Cefola, said, “I’ve been playing with some of these girls for almost ten years. It’s definitely sad for this to be our last year.”

To top this all off, both teams were able to celebrate in more ways than one with the girls winning 19-0 and the boys 16-1. Make sure to join next year’s tribute to our up-and-coming seniors.
