Miami Downtown Riverwalk
November 15th 2014
Bayfront Park, Miami
10 AM to 4 PM
Every year at the Miami Downtown Riverwalk, South Floridian residents travel to Miami to celebrate an event with art and music that is largely representative of the cultural diversity in Miami. Live performers from Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe come to perform, and individuals dress up in cultural attire representative of their home countries to evoke a sense of multiculturalism in downtown Miami. You can walk alongside individuals dressed in colorful attire dancing to the beat of amazing music. Or, you can sit down at one of the various booths to create a Colombian bag, Cuban art project, or Jamaican bead bracelet. With the variety of things to do at the Miami Downtown Riverwalk, I can guarantee that you will be entertained.
Head down to Miami this weekend and attend this event at The Miami Downtown Riverwalk.

Viernes Culturales, better known as Cultural Fridays, is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 2000. The organization’s main goal is to bring a multicultural group of people together to enjoy the Cuban roots within Little Havana. On the last Friday of every month, Viernes Culturales travels to the heart of Little Havana to organize art, music, dance, poetry, and historic tours for the cultural festival.
At Viernes Culturales, you will be immersed in the world of old Cuba. People line the streets playing domino games and dancing salsa to the variety of live Cuban music performers. If you are interested in a more tranquil experience, enjoy the world of Cuban arts and crafts. You can create a sugar cube necklace or stroll through the beautiful art galleries Viernes Culturales has organized for your enjoyment. Either way, you will have an awesome time.
Take a trip down to Little Havana and join a group of multicultural individuals to explore the depth of Cuban culture. You can create some arts and crafts, salsa to the iconic music of Cuba, or simply enjoy the variety of arts and music all around you. You will have a great time exploring Cuban culture.
