The newest movie in the Twilight saga, Breaking Dawn: Part 1 has had mixed reviews from both fans and critics alike. Some critics believe that it does not follow the book at all, which make it a terrible movie. However, others seem to think that it was the best Twilight movie thus far. I personally thought that the movie was good, but not great. I wanted to see it and enjoyed it, but I would not see it a second time. The wedding scene was beautiful, but in my opinion, after that the movie went downhill.

This movie might not be for the weak because there is a large amount of unnecessary blood. Senior, Anna Schneider says that “I had to hide my eyes in some parts or I would have thrown up.” This seems to be a common thought among viewers. Additionally, there was more violence and mature content. Because of this, some critics believe that it should have been rated R instead of PG-13. Overall, if you are a Twilight fan, you should go see Breaking Dawn: Part 1, but if you are on the fence about seeing the movie, you could afford to skip it.
