There is nothing you could possibly be doing this weekend that’s more fun and exciting than getting chased by zombies. So take a trip to Orlando, and stop by Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights!
Starting this Saturday and continuing on for the next twenty-seven nights, Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights is open for another season of terrifying adventures for thrill-seeking teenagers. Get chased by the zombies of The Evil Dead, come face-to-face with the American Werewolf, and possibly even encounter the eccentric experiments of the infamous Umbrella Corporation in Resident Evil.
Just in case you have no idea what Halloween Horror Nights is, don’t fret. It’s the notorious Halloween event thrown by Universal Studios in Orlando every year. This year, HHN features eight haunted houses based off of modern horror films, including:
–Resident Evil: Escape From Raccoon City
-Evil Dead
-The Cabin in the Woods
-An American Werewolf in London
-La Llorona
-Havoc Derailed
-After Life: Death’s Vengeance
-The Walking Dead: No Safe Haven
By far the most popular house, AMC’s The Walking Dead has reappeared this year as one of the main attractions at Universal. Featuring four different parts, you can roam through the haunted streets of Atlanta, encounter the main characters of the show at The Farm, watch scenes from the first three seasons come to life in the Woodlands, or try to escape from the infamous Survivor’s Camp.
In addition to the haunted houses, Universal’s rides give you another reason to scream. In between getting chased by animal mutants and exploring the terrifying Cabin in the Woods, take a ride on one of Universal’s infamously wild roller coasters. Try the newly built Transformer’s ride, or stop by to greet the minions on the ride Despicable Me. Either way, your break from the haunted houses will turn out to be as fun and heart-pounding as the horror itself.
So who doesn’t want to be chased down the street by a group of zombies? Take a group of friends, or just go with your family; you won’t regret it! The fun stops November 2nd, so drive up to Orlando and experience Halloween Horror Nights while it lasts.
