The Class of 2014 rose to the occasion to add some new traditions to make their Senior year a memorable one. On August 23, 2013, the Senior Sunrise went into full gear. The morning was equipped with a hearty breakfast and more than 30 seniors enjoyed the beautiful Florida sunrise. This year’s class hopes to have this exciting morning tradition passed down to future Seniors.
Another addition to the growing list of senior traditions is the Paint Party. This gives the opportunity for Seniors to paint their parking spot in the car garage on the west side of campus. On Saturday, August 24, Seniors used their creative sides and individuality to really have the garage come to life. The unique event really allowed for the Senior class to bond as they started the school year. Senior Nicole Baptista, said, “It was really fun and everyone was really supportive of each other’s work.” Senior traditions are a huge way for a senior class to leave their individual mark on Pine Crest. The Class of 2014 is extremely thankful to have had the opportunity to start these new traditions and hopes that future Senior classes will enjoy them as well.
