Pine Crest Middle and Upper School TSA teams excelled at the 2025 Florida TSA State Competition. The Middle School team placed third overall, and the Upper School finished second, with both qualifying for the National TSA Competition in Nashville this July. The event had over 3,000 participants competing in STEAM events, including Architecture, Communications, and Computer Science.
The Middle School team took first in Music Production, Medical Technology, and Website Design. They also placed second in Biotechnology, Board Game Design, and Forensic Technology. Taylan Abramson ’29 earned second in Computer-Aided Design, while Iman Mustafa ’29 took third in Promotional Marketing.
The Upper School team won titles in Board Game Design, Forensic Science, Robotics, Senior Solar Sprint, and STEM Mass Media. They finished second in Fashion Design, Promotional Marketing (Georgia Kolettis ’27), Structural Design, and Technology Problem Solving. Third-place awards included Audio Podcasting, Data Science, Photographic Technology (Rodney Henry ’26), and Virtual Reality Simulation.
Gabe Duarte ’25, Sophia Wang ’25, and Mehak Gadh ’25 received Florida Technology and Engineering Senior Scholarships. Gabe Duarte, Drew Goldstein ’26, and Aman Agrawal ’26 joined the TSA National Honor Society. Georgia Kolettis ’27 won the U.S. Naval Research and Hines Graphic Arts Awards.
