This year, Pine Crest Upper School has introduced exciting upgrades to its campus with the expansion of the EDGE room. Extending into the library, this newly renovated space now houses multiple specialized rooms: the Zoom Room, Data Analytics Lab, High Tech Hub, and EDGE Classroom, TSA Room, and Collaboratorium. These additions provide students with a versatile hub for exploration, collaboration, and creativity, all under one roof.
“These new spaces are cutting-edge, giving unique opportunities to students and fostering innovation, collaboration, and the entrepreneurial mindset,” said Mrs. Keri Kolettis, Vice President of Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Her leadership has been instrumental in shaping this innovative environment, which now serves as a cornerstone for student growth and development.
Beyond sparking creativity, the new rooms also serve as productive and quiet study areas. “I love how these spaces balance functionality and inspiration,” said John Promnitz ‘27. “They’re perfect for both focused work and pursuing creative projects.”
The expansion has also showcased the school’s commitment to integrating advanced technology into the learning experience. For example, the High Tech Hub features cutting-edge equipment, including VR headsets and interactive tools that enhance storytelling and media production. In the Zoom Room, private pods and workstations enable students to participate in virtual interviews or internship meetings without disruption.
These developments highlight Pine Crest’s dedication to empowering students with opportunities to explore their passions and embrace modern tools for learning. The EDGE spaces stand as a testament to the school’s forward-thinking approach to education, ensuring students are well-equipped for the future.
