The long-standing senior privilege of leaving campus for lunch is always a favorite of the many senior traditions. Seniors may go off campus to the vast array of restaurants near Pine Crest. Let’s look at some of the most popular off-campus restaurants. 

Gourmet Garden– This popular healthy food restaurant serves delicious smoothies and açai bowls along with other items made from fresh and natural ingredients. Its large menu includes wraps, bowls, soups, and salads. It has great vegan and gluten free options too. Located close to school, it is a delicious place to eat in or take out.  

Beehive Kitchen– Enjoy the new craze of building your own bowl or salad. In this café, you go up to the counter and customize your meal with the tasty selection of vegetables, grains, proteins, and greens. In addition, their cold pressed juices are also a favorite among many. The kitchen at Beehive is buzzing with quality, serving several healthy, vegan, and gluten free options! 

Blaze Pizza – For those that love a great slice of pizza, Blaze Pizza is the place to go. Serving thin crust pizza with various toppings that you customize yourself, this is the perfect place for a quick individual pizza pie. Along with their popular pizzas, they offer salads including Greek and Caesar salads.  

Tee Jay Thai and Sushi – This is a fabulous Japanese and Thai restaurant with great décor as well as tables and large booths to sit in. Some say it’s the best sushi in Fort Lauderdale, but their extensive menu of creative Asian dishes is just as flavorful and satisfying. 

Boston Bagel Cafe – Everyone loves a good bagel; Boston Bagel Cafe offers quality bagels and other breakfast foods. In addition to the delicious menu, it’s one of the closest restaurants to campus. You’ll be sure to be back on time for your next class after lunch.
