Jordan Cancels Part of Peace Agreement with Israel

King Abdullah II of Jordan has decided to withdraw from certain portions of a 1994 peace treaty with Israel. Jordan will no longer lease two territories located along the countries’ shared border to Israel, leaving Israeli farmers and soldiers that had access to these lands unsure of what to do.
