The Grammys: The People Who Were Actually Winning
During this year’s Grammys, the A-listers definitely did not fail to surprise us with their either stunning or bizarre outfits for the night. From floral pantsuits to fishnets, here’s a look at the best and worst dressed at the Grammys this year.
Best Dressed
1. Cardi B
Cardi B never fails to impress fans and definitely did not disappoint at the Grammys. Her Mohammed Ashi gown paired with Christian Louboutin pumps made her shine on the red carpet!
2. Camila Cabello
The “Havana” singer matched perfectly with the red carpet with her crimson Vivienne Westwood couture dress, which she later revealed through instagram was inspired by “the flamenco emoji.”
3. Janelle Monae
The singer stoof out on the red carpet wearing a black Dolce & Gabbana suit, featuring many bright floral decorations. Monae sported a metallic blue-green eyeliner and topped off the outfit with a Time Up’s pin.
4. Zayn Malik
Don’t you love it when a guy can pull of pink? The “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” singer exceeded our expectations, pairing his light pink Richard James suit with stylish Ralph Lauren shoes.
5. Childish Gambino
Childish Gambino’s all white suit brightened up the red carpet. Gambino paired Tod’s velvet loafers with his white-hot suit. Very classy.
Worst Dressed
1. Sarah Silverman
Although black is usually a safe color to wear on the red carpet, Silverman’s goth look did not meet anyone’s expectations. Silverman wore a Maggie Marylin dress with a Vince Camuto clutch, but the fishnet stockings and combat boots did not seem to fit the Grammys attire.
2. Anna Kendrick
Pitch Perfect 3 star’s outfit seemed a little informal for such a formal carpet. Whether it was her lace top or pink heels, but the entire fit didn’t seem to do it for us.
3. Rapsody
Although the dark green was a powerful color choice, the white underlay of her jacket combined with her bright red hair made the outfit seem a little too Christmas-y.
4. Kali Uchis
Although other singer and actors were able to pull of the bright colors, Kali Uchis didn’t seem to have it right. The “Tyrant” singer wore a bold silver-and fuchsia lurex jumpsuit that really jumped out at everyone!
5. Jaden Smith
The singer promoted his album, “Syre,” by writing the name of the album in black sharpie on his hand, but unfortunately the audience got lost in the rest of his outfit, which consisted of patched-up pants with neon writing and what seemed to be a winter coat.
